BIND 9.3.1 update installs a new branch DNS on your nameservers and fixes recreate DNS zone.

Apply BIND 9.3.1 to your DNS servers for BIND 9.3 and older. For owners of BIND 9.3, this update will only fix recreate DNS zone.

Note: Starting with version 9.3, BIND is executed via Daemon Tools.

Update Procedure

1. Log into your control panel server as root:
   
   su -
2. Download the bind package from the psoft site:
   For Linux:
   
   For FreeBSD:
   
3. Unpack the contents of the downloaded archive:
   
   tar zxf u-bind-9.3.1-fixed.tgz
4. Enter the unpacked directory:
   
   cd u-bind-9.3.1-fixed
5. Run upgrade:
   
   ./update.sh
