SiteStudio 1.8 New Features Reference

This initial version contains several major features and introduces mechanisms more user-friendly and powerfull than previous releases. We encourage you to try it and provide us with feedback. In this release, Parallels provides free of cost a new set of templates that will make the sites of your customers more attractive.

1. Series of New designs in Business Category
    
2. Free addon of over 20 new designs for Parallels SiteStudio owners/admins

As a special gift for all Parallels SiteStudio users, an addon of over 20 templates is introduced free of charge to allow users to enrich and vary their sites. To install the add-on, you need just it and unpack to SiteStudio folder.

 
3. Designs are W3C compatible

   In SiteStudio 1.8 Beta and higher, all published sites are W3C compatible.

    
4. Introducing of 3 new skins as well as skin mechanism for extending it.

Now you can change the look and feel of SiteStudio interface: choose between green, grey and classic skins.

 
5. Possibility to install SiteStudio updates/patches via Admin Panel

Go to Check for Updates menu of your Admin Panel and at the bottom of the form that appears click the Apply available updates button. Note that you can apply all the patches in bulk, not each separately.

 
6. Gallery of uploaded files

Created Gallery of uploaded files, similar to Picture Gallery

 
7. Enhanced settings screen
